Well. I never was a fan of themeparks ( cos they tend to make me more sick than excited XD;;;;)till i came across disneyland and knottsscary and stuff.
Knottsberry for Company Anniversary!!! ( actually it was an awesome excuse to wake up late on Friday instead of going to work ) but to my horror i ended up waking up at 6am and dressed by 9 and my housemates only woke up like 3 hrs later =D! So i ended up doing some studying and staring at my beloved ( laptop ) till it was time to go!!
To my horror the picnic wasn't very edible to me ( homg =< i should have packed my own raw carrots ) but there was pie so it was okay~. I think we reached there like 15 mins before the kitchen closed so hayz! at least i got pie!!
anyway since i missed most of the event so yeah I have no idea what went on and such so no pictures since nothing was going on during the short period of time that i was there anyway. So we headed to the actual knottsberry farm ( apparently the 1st theme park in america ) Not my first time. I went here for knottscary, the halloween event.
I have to admit knottsberry when it is KNOTT very scary, looks kinda like a normal themepark. I actually missed the crazy ghouls jumping out at me and crazy crazy props and mazes. I mean when its just the normal rides the park looks like its stripped bare =(. I was feeling nauseous from lack of sleep and food so I decided to skip all the rides ( some looks dangerously fatal to my poor wimpy self too ) except for one of the wet rides thingy cos it doesn't look like it could kill and ya know..to make use of the free entrance XD;
so yeah i think the guys took a few~
like the Boomerang!
and the perilous plunge..that looks seriously scary.
then off back to disneyland!! they're close to each other~
=< Toy story mania was closed so we couldn't exercise our arms ( apparently the ride broke down )
So we hit onto our current fave ride. The tower!! what else XD! This time with persuasion allll of us went for the ride! and everyone loves it wooot! XD!! We loved it so much when we exited, we immediately head back in for another round! Though the 2nd time we decided to do a pose for the picture taking at the top of the ride.
Im very bad at posing XD who smiles so widely in their sleep XD Like Kok Heng said its not easy to act calm for this ride cos its just too thrilling!!
The long loooong queue for indiana jones ride. Amazingly this ride justified the wait. I was expecting it to be ..well..lameish..i mean..indiana jones D: Come on~ BUT. BUT. this one hovers as a top fave. Fantastic high speed storytelling XD!!! Ive gotta thank the imagineers for this one!!! Thank you yo!! Munhow managed to drive us through safely ( albeit a few bumps here and there LOL )
Fireworks were cancelled due to high winds ( it didn't feel that strong actually but we will find out later the winds were actually SERIOUSLY strong somewhere else nearby ) Halfway through the water show which we were watching while having dinner, the show too was cancelled due to high winds so we proceeded to space mountain.
For me its akin to being spinned around in a washing machine. Once the ride curves i couldn't move my head at all. XD Its really fast! We had so much fun and it was so fast we decided to queue for another round ( since it was already so late (11pm) and the queue wasn't that long anymore.
I like the feeling at the end of this ride. The euphoria. Its like your head been completely washed clean too. I kept having trouble getting up after this ride cos everything is a blank XD! XD it is a moment of ..WHAT THE HECK JUST HAPPENED XDXD
Okay I dun need to emphasize how much we love disneyland XD but we're gonna take a break before we go there again ( we still haven't visited fantasyland and a number of rides still lol neither have we watched all the shows and parades ) but we dun wanna burn out and get bored!
But still XD 3 themeparks on a workday is still TONS OF FUN!
